Advance Bidding Terms and Conditions for the James G. Murphy Co.

ADVANCE BIDDING

Advance bids are considered an "absentee bid". By placing an Advance Bid you authorize the Auctioneer to bid on your behalf. The auctioneer will purchase at the lowest possible price up to your maximum bid. Advance bidding is available at all of our auctions as soon as the auction catalog(lot by lot listing) for that auction is added to the site. To register for Advance bidding go back to the "Live & Advance Bidding page" and select "click to sign up" on the left side of the screen. You have the option, at the time of registration, to also request to become a "MurphyLive! bidder" (see terms for MurphyLive!). You may also select the "outbid notice". By selecting the "outbid notice" you will be notified by email only when another Advance bidder out bids you. Advance bidding closes 1/2 hour prior to the auction starting time. At that time the high bid for any lot from the Advance Bidding will be submitted to the auction floor. Those bids will be bid with the live bidders, as if the Advance bidder were present, up to the amount of the Advance bid. You will NOT be notificed if you are out bid on the auction floor. All successful Advance bidders will be notified by phone and/or email by the next business day following the auction.

ADVANCE BIDDING TERMS

Advance bidders are bound by the James G Murphy Co. general auction terms and conditions posted for the auction which the bids are placed.
Most auctions have a 10% buyer's premium which will be added to the bid price. The advance bid amount is the bid price without the buyer's premium. (for buyer's premium amount check the terms for the auction you are bidding on).
All sales are final upon award of bid.
Full payment is due the day following notice of successful bid. Cash, cashier's check, wire transfer, Master & Visa cards ONLY. Personal or company checks accepted ONLY with bank letter of guarantee. Credit cards NOT accepted over the phone for purchases in excess of $2,000.
Bidders are responsible for removal of their items from the auction site in accordance with the terms for the auction which the bids are placed.
Advance Bids under $100 are not accepted.
Advance bidding closes 1/2 hour prior to the auction starting time.
Advance bidders will not have any claim against the James G. Murphy Co. for failure to submit advance bids to the auctioneer.

The principal, the auctioneer, the advertising coordinator, and any of their agents makes no express or implied warranties of any type. Complete terms and conditions of sale will be available at the time of sale. All information was obtained from sources deemed reliable. Although every precaution has been taken to ensure accuracy, the principal, the James G. Murphy Co., the advertising coordinator, and all of their agents shall not be responsible for any errors and omissions therein. It is for this reason that we recommend that all items be thoroughly inspected prior to the point of sale. Auctioneer reserves the right to sell accessories, parts or attachments on a separate and/or aggregate basis.
